ROSIE'S STORY

Birth & Adoptions

Soccer Dog Rosie is a South Florida born, 2 year old Labrador/Pit-Bull mix.

Rosie hasn't always been Rosie. She was born in animal shelter in March 2018, & was fortunate enough to had been adopted by a caring family a few weeks after while still a puppy. She was named "Lilith".

Few months after her adoption, "Lilith's" adopters anticipated that they wouldn't be able to give her the love & attention that they knew she deserved. Lilith's adopters took this into thoughtful & considerate action.

On December 10, 2018, "Lilith's" original adopters found her a new home with a reliably caring family... MY FAMILY!

We adopted Lilith as "Rosie". Since then, Rosie has been able to indulge in daily abundance of love & attention! More than she could had ever imagined.

Discovery of Love for Soccer

A day after I returned home from out-of-state college, I went out to the nearby park to train with the ball & I decided to bring Rosie with me.

We arrived to the park's open field. I took my ball out of the bag & began to juggle it. Five seconds after I began to touch and move with the ball, Rosie went full throttle jumping around me & my ball in circles, barking at the ball while sticking out & placing her paws on top of it!

Just like this:

Paw of defense

I'd pass or shoot the ball & this would happen . . .

Sprinting to the ball

I then began to dribble the ball & THIS happened . . .

Persistent defending pressure

That day I shockingly realized that Rosie helped my motivation & footwork with the ball so much. We now have been playing soccer together nearly every day since. Not only does she play soccer, she has grown a full passion for playing it. Rosie has happily matched Coach Pablo's purpose of propelling our players learn to strive for their full potentials as T.E.M.P.T. trained soccer players. Rosie offers opportunities of innovation in youth soccer training!
